all there was to do in the back were the window switches. i didn't do the door handles becuase i figured they'd chip from everyone always touching them. thanks guys!

Very sweet valve cover! Love the sheen on it.

Off-topic: what did you set your AGX's to to get your 1/4 ET of 14.86 s @ 93.2 mph ? Nice time! I had my rear at 8 & front at 1 for 15.02 @ 93.38 mph. I have a '97 SE that's 100lbs heavier than yours.

Thanks for all the positive comments fellas!

nymjayjay:

the cover was not at all hard to do. i used duplicolor paint that you can buy at most auto parts stores.
1. clean off the cover very well (i used soap and water)
2. lightly sand the area you are painting (used 320grit) this helps the first coat of paint to stick better.
3. mask off the center piece. what i did was cover it with a few strips of masking tape and cut along the edges with a razor blade and pull the excess off. take your time with this; it's a PITA
4. i put 4 coats of duplicolor sandable primer; let dry
5. wetsand the primer and let dry
6. i then put 4 coats of duplicolor medium red garnet paint; let dry
7. wetsand and let dry
8. 3 layers of clearcoat; let dry
9. pull off tape and enjoy the mirror finish

StygianMax:

that run was with a hybrid intake ONLY. i have since then added my suspension, y-pipe, b-pipe, and act clutch.

When did you take those pictures? Do you have a digicam now?

And that is weird about that key button...my '95 doesn't have that, and I never noticed it when I was riding with you.

If only these people could get a glimpse of what your stereo sounds like...(even though it's all bass!)

and i'm coming home this weekend...my grampa is about to die, so I'm gonna come home to see him, so if anything's going on, gimme a call.
