Hit 10PSI again! had a 2-3PSI problem..whatever I did tonight

After so much talk on the SE forums about Dyno tuning and possibly going to the track this Friday, I got home woke up and messed with the air ambient sensor and checked it out, I had the BOV kind of too loose, went on a test drive and only hit 8 PSI, then the belt slipped at 5700RPMS I can hear it. Came home this tighten it to have just a 1/4 of inch play which I thought I had done that last week . Just went on another test run and I hit 10PSI very fast in 2nd gear, boy I am so happy to see my boost gauge climb so fast up there. It is a site of relief. The pulley I am using is the 3.25 pulley and yes I am 5 speed. Thing pulls so hard in this nice cool weather. I still need a bit more power and loose a bit of more weight some where I would like to see lower 13's. Now I am starting to sound like Mardigrasmax

Hm...I wonder maybe I need to tighten my belt too. So far I only get 8psi. I can still turn the belt about 90 degrees, too loose?

I had it with a 1/4 of an inch play in New Orleans. After removing the blower and shaving it down and re installing it, I never tightened the belt the way I had it. Kev said it was about a 1/4 of inch play and thats what I have. As a matter of fact I did some work on a new 5th gen this past saturday and his belts only had a 1/4 of inch play. So that is proper the 1/4 of an inch play. like around 45-60 degree angle twist any more twist you have to use a little force

hey man, I should be getting my sprints on fri, so maybe you can cut them on sat? Congrats on your car, hopefully, when you cut the springs for me, you can do for my SC what you did for yours. When you say 45-60 degrees, you mean taking the belt in hand and trying to turn it, where does the belt tighten and what size drive? Thanks.

Lets roll out to the track man! you have a 2.87 pulley every mod in the book except the ME VI, get that car out of the drive way. It does that car no good to kick it in the porch, come spank some rice out there you wont regret it. Is fun addicting. Lets roll out. You want me to ask your folks for permission

I be coming out the porch, when I get my suspension done, lol. Sounds like a fun though! My only reservation is ruining my new tires?Otherwise, I'm down.

The only way you will ruin your tires is if you go out there and do burn out every time or you want to show the girls some serious smoke. Just dont do no burn outs and you will just fine. If suspension is troubling you if you get your stuff on Thurs maybe I can do it then therefor you can roll out there w/us.

I'll be rolling up there with my car club. And we'll finally see how much this LSD is helping my launch.

Shadow about what time you and your club going up there? You got a new tranny with LSD? I would like to see you put up some nice numbers since with that LSD.

GTR I was suppose to be riding down to Miami around the Feb time period but not sure if that will come thru or not. Depends on my father.

Was that you that drove by when I was at my mailbox the other day? I had just gotten home from work and was out getting the mail by the street and heard something come by and when I looked over it looked like your car from behind....????

Lake Lucerne? Yeah, that was me. I saw your car, but I didn't know it was you at first. I was wondering why I hadn't seen it around lately, then I recognized you and tried to wave, but it was too late.

I thought that was you. Yeah, that's my house (well the driveway anyway, can't see the house from the road). I've been working long hours and my car just sits all day in front of the office.

What's the name of your parents place? The girls at the office were looking for a new place to get their grub from, and I mentioned your place but forgot what's it's called.
