- A. Body Kit
cost me about $700 total
- B. 2002 SUZUKI GSXR600 $7,599, BLUE/WHITE, 1,300 miles
down payment would be the same as a body kit

body kit will only make you depressed every time you scratch it.
Gixxer is ok...although the 750 class is pretty much dead and you're paying a premium for a bike that basically performs like a 600.
Kawi is UGLY AS ****....
My vote is D, put a downpayment on the newly re-designed 2003 Yamaha R6 (pick it up in the spring, when you can actually ride it).....best 600cc bike you can buy....
Gixxer is ok...although the 750 class is pretty much dead and you're paying a premium for a bike that basically performs like a 600.

i like the r6 but i don't plan to stay in the 600 class.. i am actually planning to get a R1 in the begging of summer.. so i am just looking for a fck around bike for now..

Will this be your first bike???
If it is...you won't be bored with a 600 sportbike after a couple monthes....it will take YEARS to take full advantage of all those bikes have to offer.
I love my R6.....and I'm still learing EVERY TIME I RIDE IT.

first bike and taking classes..
but i am 6'3 / 235 lbs.. and my friends are like.. you are going to look like a giant and get bored easy
i was actually going to get the 2002 R1 as a first bike.. but my co workers are telling my gf to get life insurance

If this is your first bike, I highly recommend getting a 600cc. It's a LOT faster than you think.

If "it's time" as in right now, then I'd go with the body kit...
Winter is approaching and you won't be riding the bike much, if at all..
unless you're getting a great deal on the bike, then I'd go with the body kit.. if you plan on getting both the kit and the bike eventually, it just depends what you could use more right now. I'd go with the kit for that reason.
I'm trying to save for a bike for the summer time myself and my kit is lying in the basement collecting dust, need to get around to painting it

you can't do body kit now.. paint needs to cure.. and the winter salt and dirt is not going to help that.. so if i bought the body kit.. i wouldnt' paint and install it till late winter early spring

i have a mille, and i want to add an sv650s to the garage. should be a crazy fun bike, and i think the fact that it has less power and i would be able to wind it out more on the street without loosing my liscence is a big plus. the power delivery of the twin should be much more linear and easier to learn on than an 600. kinda like learning to drive stick in a 12 second honda vs a stock max.
if you are buying a r6/r1/whatever so you can keep up with your friends... well your friends are lame if they won't wait for you.
that's all i'm going to say about that.

get the GSXR or just any bike you want more.
I don't know if your mind is made up on the bike and how much you want to spend and exact color combo and model, but you have time since prices should be somewhat cheaper in the winter, same might go for the body kit, might miss some kind of sale or group deal to be ran in the future..

Sprint...go for the bike man!!! I'm looking into one next spring, I'm just starting out though, so its only gonna be a Ninja 250 though I figure I can burn some sccoters with that. but after being down here for Howard Homecoming and seeing all these Busas and R1s doing wheelies down the ave, I caught "bike fever" **** the body kit go for the bike!!!!

A perfect compliment to a Max, would be a bike. I used to ride motocross and have loved bikes even longer than cars. Although the style of the Suzukies is not my favorite they are the fastest in a straight line and top speed. R1's are probably my favorite because they are not much slower than the GSXR-1000 (and faster than everything else), but they look so much better in my opinion. The GSX-R 750 is about the best balance of sport bike and street mahcine. The Hyabusa is a big bike that I would call a straight line racer or top speed marvel, rather than sport bike.
600's are great to start with, and as long as it isn't a Katana, it will be plenty fast. Also check about insurance. I know in some areas the difference between a 600 and anything above is crazy.
Good luck, I hope you get the bike. I know you have seen the DMX video, people doing wheelies, and burnouts while sitting on the handle bars is just nuts.

NONE......If your going for a bike, that means you want REAL speed. Not that our max's aren't fast, just that bikes are crazy fast, and if you want to go REAL fast, you might as well spend the extra dough and get a Gixxer1000, my friend has one with about $1500 in it and it runs like 8's. SOOOOOOOO FAST!!!!!

If you ask people, almost everyone will tell you that Suzuki makes the best bikes, hell i'm talking to people i know and they are all telling me to get a Suzuki, bc they win championships. Kawasaki has always been a bit behind Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda, but their all new 600cc is suppose to bring them back on par with their competitors. Suzuki's are the fastest, probably least comfortable, they design their bikes for track use. Yamahas tend to be slightly better, but like Suzuki they also make it more track oriented than everyday riding. Kawasaki DOES make comfortable bikes, just they were never on par in performance, straight line or track, with the others. Honda is kind of in the middle, their performance is better than most equivalent Kawasakis, but less than Yamaha and Suzuki counterparts.
From your choices i would say get the GSXR, but thats cuz im not a kawasaki fan. But a Honda CBR600 makes a good beginner bike too. If u wanna buy brand new Honda CBR600RR
