I was just lookin at all the maxima's with all 5 generations and what year with what MODEL

I was still deciding which iws the best maxima in
1. PErformance
2. Looks and style
3. Stability
4. Electrical
5. Easy mods

let me know what you guys think..dont forget to say what model and year..

Of course i would have to say 4th gen for all the above, that is with a 2k2 engine.

 

1-2002+
2-3rd
3-3rd
4-(cant answer that, havent done any elec work on 4th and 5th)
5-4th

 

Performance: 5th (2K2)
Looks and style: 5th
Stability: ??
Electrical: 5th (according to Consumer Reports)
Easy mods: 4th

 

97-99 4th gens look the best.........2k2's are the fastest

 

While I am a 2K owner, I fell in love with the Max because of the 4th gens.

 

1. PErformance - 2k2
2. Looks and style - 97-99 4th gen
3. Stability - any lowered car with a FSTB and a RSB
4. Electrical - ??
5. Easy mods - 4th gen

 

That question is TOTALLY objective, dependant on each person's point-of-view. While I can sit here and sing my praises on the 3rd Gen (because that's all I've owned), others will say 4th or even 5th Gen's are the best.

Be that as it may, here's my unbiased opinion:

1. Performance - 5th gen
2. Looks and style - 3rd gen
3. Stability - 4th gen
4. Electrical - 5th gen
5. Easy mods - 4th gen

But then again, that's MY opinion - and opinions are like @$$holes; everyone's got 'em, and some STINK!

 

I own a 4th Gen but I would have to say the 3rd gen was the best. We 4th Genners got played on the options that the 3rd gens had.

97/99 - Looks the best.
2000/2002 - I don't know what the hell Niisan was thinking when those things were designed.
