I am going to run a total of four gauges and four switches.
Two gauges on my a pillar and the rest in the glove box.
Where and how have you been tapping for power?
Please be specific with your set up.
I currently have one line tapped into my dimmer switch and ran two lines off of that for power to two gayges in the glove box.
I am trying to keep this neat and simple and feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

For the lighting, I use the "dim" wire going to the clock.

Well, I have 4 guages (RPM, vehicle speed, coolant temp, and fuel level) but none of them are pillar-mounted. I like mine right in front of the steering wheel where they dont block my view, but are still easy to read.

Did mine a little different
When i started installing my guages, I knew I would be doing more electrical stuff later on. I ran a direct set of power and ground from the battery into a switch inside the passanger compartment. This switch then feeds a fused power distribution block. I now have power available wherever I need it. I started with 2 guages, but I have added alot more. I now feed the trunk and engine compartment nitrous components their main power feed from the distribution block. The trunk and engine compartments each have their own "box" that anything can tap into for power, and the added device will still be controlled by "Master Switch" . Some people wouldn't like this setup because it is hot all the time. I, on, the other hand wanted complete control over everything I added. it only took me about a week of driving around to remember to turn the switch off and on each time. Another nice thing is that when adding more stuff, i don't have to unplug the battery, I just kill the switch and everything else is dead. I kind of look at it as a master power switch for all the extra equipment I have added.

Where do you have everything grounded?

A diagram to start with...
if you go to http://web.gould-family.org:8080/max...20Plumbing.htm , and choose electrical diagram, you will see the Nitrous electrical work. now, From the passanger compartment power distro block, just add in what you want to feed power to guages.
everything i did by picking up a bunch of supplies at Radio Shack:
SPST Lighted Toggle Switches
DPDT momentery Toggle Switches
18 Guage Wire
Fuse Blocks
Inline Fuse Connections
project Boxes
Plenty of connectors, a good soldering gun, zip ties, electrical tape. many more. unfortunatley it is hard for me to get some good pics, since everything is closed up right now.
