that support piece sounds like a pretty important thing...

Hope it doesn't come to cost a whole lot. I think the mr. cranman/ian VI's are still on everyone's list (including mine sometime in the future). We actually know those work.

As for the cool lookin cover, they can still be bought from japan/middle east right?

guess ill be getting one sooner than later. hey jaime and wayne did they say anything about instructions?
No he didnt mention anything about instructions. It doesnt seem that hard to connect once you have the picture drawings. Now this will be common Mod so the ricers are going to be even more scared then ever. A maxima will be like a stock GT. Step aside plz V6 coming thru.

Cranman has to forms of shipping one is air the other is sea freight. You can get a VI for $490 50% upfront and the other 50% when he informs you is ready to be shipped out. so thats two payments mailed to him at $245. The $490 price tag is for sea freight only. You then have to purchase the kit that he has put together and your ready to plug and play.

Just to clear it up that support piece is actually holds the cover on the VI. But I can still get the cover for people if they want it. I think this is a really cool deal...but I wonder how many they'll have in stock??? I think this is way cool for the Maxima Community!!!

I'm not mad, for that price it will be on back order in no time

Besides Cranman is a very nice dude. When baggs had trouble with his Cranman got on the phone with him and gave him support and ge got his working. I highly doubt that courtesy will do that. I know so for a fact cause I called those clowns for a suspension issue that I had about 2 years ago. Like someone earlier discussed a deal is a deal. I am 27 years old and what ever. You guys if courtesy gets this Manifold you guys jump on this shyt and enjoy it. It is a very good mod and if your boosted game on.

So if you don't want the cover the support piece isn't even needed right?

Part # 14017 - The Support piece - Is simply the clip that holds the rear of the manifold onto the engine so that the manifold (ie: collector) does not twist forward with torque when the engine shifts.

It is already on the stock manifold, and is not needed, as you already have one on your car.

You make it sound simple to get one. Some of us have been waiting months for them to come through.

I have no idea how hard it is to get it
No one mentioned anything about it being hard to get

If you're referring to the guy not answering his emails and stuff, Mr Cranman said he was on a business trip or something

I always wondered, how and where do you install VI?

Where does it go?

It is only for 4th gen cars...your car already has one. But, it takes the place of the collector on the 4th gen. The collector is the part right after the throttle body...and got bolts to the intake manifold.

Yes he was for one week. But even before and after that he still does not answer E-mails from people and usually does not follow up with help on questions or anything.

Cranman sells the ME VIs, Harlan sells the switch. Cranman helps people and returns emails the same day within mins. I can vouch for that. Even if you dont send him a email when doing a transaction with him.

I will be ordering mine 5 business days from yesterday (up to 2 weeks) as Seximagtr said they will be available. As for a solid deal, well if you have a phone call them yourself! I did, and indeed they are going to in stock at Courtesy Nissan. IT'S FOR REAL, SO BELIEVE IT!

I will beleive it when the first person orders theirs and it comes with all the correct/promised parts. However, it is looking promising. I certainly don't want to be a naysayer because the last time I did that to the fellow (sorry, forgot his name)who claimed he could get us RASBs for $120 and I said no way in h., it bit me in the @$$. :I

I just did a search on Google and found their site.

So far anywhere from a week to two months. Lately it seems like none of us were hearing back from him after sending our money until it would come in bursts of people. It looks likea few more went out the other day but if this mod really becomes as cheap as it looks who knows what the back log on these might be.

I don't see why you couldn't use either. The MSD switch, however, is triple the cost.
