My sentra se-r only has intake, exhaust and UDP. Free mods are 19* timing, TB coolant bypass. My suspension has all ES bushings as well as the motor/tranny mounts, AGX + eibach combo, FSTB, RSB (I'm making a RSTB now). I also have nifty red trunk on my black se-r .

I HAD a '91 SE-R w/NISMO exhaust cam, headers, intake, exhaust, sway bars, springs, rims/tires, advanced timing, direct port NOS and the usual sounds, ground kit, etc. It was a good car. Best recorded time was a 14.6 before changing exhaust and laying A LOT of rubber because of that NOS!!!!

I had a '93 that was BONE STOCK. I loved my baby, but I had to sell it. The upside is, selling her helped pay for my 2K2 Max!

RIP SE-R

Yeah, i am fortunate enough to keep me SE-R as my track car. I bought it brand new when i was 17, and when i was 27 I bought my 2k02 MAX! WHat sucks is that the max feels so much faster. IM not sure if it is, i need to take both cars to the track. i know on the road coarse my 92 would eat up the max, as the SE-R has every bolt on under the sun, full coilover suspesion, 11" brakes and a rollbar! My winter project is to gut the crap out of it!

I have owned 2 nissans, and I love both of them!

Wow, it is cool you were able to get 10 years out of it. I am actually thinking lately I might want to try to get as long as I can out of my Max.

I am 21 now so this has only been the case with two cars so far, both of which were falling apart around themselves. But I figure with my Max, say if I keep sticking some money away for a while in a seperate bank account I dont withdraw from, even just a couple hundred bucks a month when it comes to me wanting a new can I can say "Well in this seperate account that I was saving money for a new car I have $7,000 or so but I really like this car" And maybe get a turbo or something big like that that will give me the power of a newr car or something to make me love it even more for only say 4K as compared to spending 15 - 25K for a new car.

Doesnt it seem like the older SE-Rs are like the 3rd gens and the 200sx SE-Rs are like 4th gens, even when it comes to beam and IRS and higher revs.

****, 10 yrs on a "classic" that what us SE-R boys like to call it is nothin! my car has "only 77K" on it! I did mostly local driving and now and am able to concentrate more on road racing and auto-x! ITs nice to have a race car and a daily driver...

If you take care of the max, im sure she will last a LONG time. Nissan is good like that!

I think i'll give my kid my se-r...but, when i actually have kids i imagine my se-r with a DET and 300+ HP

Me = 91 SE-R - Rare 4 speed, ok fine 5th gears out but I do have a new tranny laying in my garage waiting for me to put it in. So far the cars got 198,500 miles on it. I've got the Japanese spec SR20 in it. Timing bumped, high flow cat, exhaust, 200sx se-r wheels.

I use this car as my pickup truck. I put a tarp in the truck and when I mow the lawn I fill it up with grass clippings. Works pretty good unless you miss the free yard waste times at the dump. After the grass sits in there a few days it start smelling really fresh. hehe... Ya... Right... FRESH! Oh its interesting pulling in next to all the big trucks in my econo box full of grass clipings. They all put down their pitch forks and look at me in amazement. I'm glad falls here now I just fill it up with leaves! Smells lots better! hehe...

A friend of mine has a 93 se-r. That car is so damn quick. He always puts the beat down on me. He says he's stock, but I don't believe him. I know he doesn't have a cat-converter. He ran a 15.1 and 15.2 at the track. What could he have done that he's not telling anyone. I was thinking he had cams or had his timing adjusting.
