The Enkei RPM2s really caught my eye. Has anyone seen these in person or on a car? The only thing is they supposedly have a "hyper black" finish. What exactly does that look like in person?

I'm looking at an 18" x 7.5" at under 19 lbs or less.

They're light just like everyone was saying. I've got 16X7.5 Kosei K1s which I still love dearly, but I think I want something more classy rather than all out race. These wheels will slow me down a little because they'll probably weigh 5-6lbs more than the K1s when you include tires. It's either the RPM2s or the Racing Hart C2s. Whatever I get, I want to be able to run on my next car (possibly a G35 or GS400).

A black Maxima with these wheels wouldn't look too bad. I found a pic of the RPM2s on a 300ZX and they looked really nice. They're kind of a satin silver/black with lots-o-shine.

Dave, check out what I said..
they are 17.4 lbs..
i think your Kosei's are around 16-17?
Not sure

but either way, that is VERY light for a 17" wheel
I personally like the C2s just as much, I believe they have the polished lip, which is sweet with BBS style wheels such as these..
what size do you want these in, 17? 18?

My K1s weigh just over 15lbs. With my 225/50s, the combo weighs about 38lbs. You know me, I'm only going with 17s because I think 17s look plenty big on the 4th gen when it's lowered. I even think my K1s look plenty big (they look like 17s). I'd guessimate the RPM2s with 235/45s will weigh around 43-45lbs which is okay with me. We'll see what I decide when February rolls around.

BTW, thanks for postin the pic.

Actually Enkei RPM2's are 16.8 in 17x8 from what I've read. www.whalentire.com is having a special on them right now, $208 in that size.

See sig. Those are the 18x8s. They're not available in Hyper black anymore (to my knowledge). They're Hyper Silver now...

I don't like the Hagen. Axis Muse looks much better. I like the NEO too.

hey dave, i just got these 2 weeks ago, 18X8 with 245/40/18 S-03's. 35mm offset. The rims are absolutely a beaut. I have a emerald black max, so it looks even better, get the the hyper silver finish. They a opal/gunmetal (not silver) type finish that is splendid to look at. Get the kyokugen black racing lugs ($45) for reduced weight and to match the wheels, if I get pictures, I'll let you know.

No, they're Hyper Silver. The Hyper Black are a like a piano laquer black. Extrememly dark with a high gloss finish.

no picture will do the wheel any justice. i have a set on layaway at work and they look hot. the finish is like a dark graphite but with high polish. remeber the factory black chrome wheels on the BMW M5/M3 (one of them) these wheels hav been out for almost 2 yrs, people are slowly catching on.
