Wow thanks for all the positive feedback guys!

To mod the lip I just had to cut about 3 inches off the center piece with a table saw. Then I used a dremel nad cut out a 2X2 inch square right in the center so that the center of my bumper would not interfier. After that it was just a game of stretching, loty of tugging a cursing. It is one super tight fit! This job is not for the weak minded..

Ohh I almost forgot.. I widened out the center so that the cut out would match my bumpers cut out. I did that with my trusty dremel too

Car looks good but the pics are cheating a bit.

You have H&R Springs but there is much more front wheel gap then what your pics show?

Did you cut your front springs or do you just take pics that have load on the front suspension to remove the gap?

Also removing your front plate for the pics makes the car look a lot better (unless the state you live in only requires rear).

Sweet ride.

Jeez man don't fret! Your sig said H&R and it didn't look like you had H&R in the front. Just asking. Is it a good idea to mix/match springs from front to back?

Well your sig said H&R. Just an observation. Did a search and have not found any mention on the .org of you having progress springs in the front. Just observations....

Anyways is it a good idea you mix and match springs from front to back? How did you buy just the front springs from progress?

Taking the front plate off makes it look a lot cleaner too. Good idea!

Well if you clicked the link in my 1st post in this thread you would have seen 2 pics of my car on flat pavement.. And I originaly choped my H&R springs and the ride got horrible so I quitely swaped my fronts over too Progress springs(no need to post about it IMO). I actualy love the combo, it is perfect now with 0 sag in the rear.

You can find some pics of my car with chopped H&R's here: http://members6.clubphoto.com/ethan5...06/guest.phtml It sure looks good but the car was dangerous like that.

JoesMAX, I like it a lot

I've been a lurker on here and you seem to post every little thing you do with your Maxima. Swapping front H&R with Progress is quite a different mod. Why didn't you post about it?
I knew there was something up with the front springs. Are you sure the ones on your car now are not chopped H&R? Can't really see a difference in those pics and the new ones.

LOL! So are you accusing me of lieing about my front springs? Would you like to put some money on this? I would be glad to prove you wrong with a little incentive .

Nope just busting ya ballz. Is it a good idea to use two different types of springs with different load ratings/characteristics? I do understand that you have the AGX and can somewhat compensate. Where did you end up getting your progress?

Both springs are very simaler and offer a simaler ride. I dont see any problem in running differnt springs. My car is perfectly flat so this has to be a good thing. I did not really notice any difference in handeling from these and H&R's(jsut a harsher ride). I bought my progress springs from customamxima.com. Any more questions?

Thanks, there would be a huge gaping hole where the badge is if I removed it. I do have a plan for the gill though .
