Re: Tokico Illuminas Available!

Their application chart does NOT show Illuminas for any year Maxima. Makes me wonder if it's true.

I had a local tuner shop talk to Tokico and they said Illuminas for 5th gens are being finalized and could be out this summer.

Standard, crappy 4th gen "replacement performance" Tokico HP Blues for the 4th gens:

http://www.tokicogasshocks.com/car/performance.html

Decent, adjustable "legitimate performance" Tokico Illuminas for the 4th gens:

http://www.tokicogasshocks.com/car/adjustable.html

For further research, visit the 300Z, vwvortex, or any of the Hon-duh forums......search for "Illumina" or "Tokico Illumina".

The car in that pic doesn't have clear corners. Everyone on the org has clear corners, right??? Hahahahaha.

Yes, the rears should fit just fine.

For the fronts they need to be modified like cattman does for the AGX

No, KYB AGX are KYB's version of Tokico Illuminas, which have been around for many years for other cars and have been widely used in road racing - given the history I'd go with the Toks first -if they only mad em for 5th gens (sigh).

whoopdedooooo? Given the relatively low quality of the Blues, I wouldn't really trust the Illuminas.
