When i had my pop charger i did something like that. I moved the bolts over from the two closest to the fender to the holes closest to the engine. It was pretty sturdy and provided a ton more room. Nice idea with the board though.

As for the board, that was simply a "prototype" to what I *might* do.
Instead, now I'm thinking it might be easier to change the existing one.
