Hello guys I need help from you tranny experts. **ERIC WONG**I have a noise that goes away when I engage the clutch. The noise is pronounced in 1st and second but starts to lessen in 3rd and is gone by fourth. I am sure this is the INPUT shaft bearing. Well the problem is I understand that there are other bearing in the tranny that could cause this noise -NOT THE THROW OUT BEARING- I want to replace all the bearings The tranny guy told me to ask for a bearing kit from Nissan but Nissan does not sell a "bearing Kit" so Nissan faxed me a diagram with numbers on them and I am trying to identify what/where these 2 or 3 bearings are. The Tranny tech said there are 2 or three bearing besides the throw out bearing ( I had that replaced 3 months ago) If someone has this diagram or has a FSM I would great appreciate it. If not can some tell me the name of these 2 or 3 bearings. It sounds like I can get these bearings for under $100 so I will have them all replaced. I do apologize if this has been posted I live by the search button but I am @ a new gig and I am should not be here

I cannot run an extensive search but when I get home this evening I will.

Thanks,
Pat

I'm having essentially the same problem.

The short of the above is that it was the mainshaft rear
bearing and differential side bearing that went bad the
first time. Now the sound is back and we have no idea so
apart it comes once again.

Also, do you have a Quaife differential in there?
