One of the best moves I have made. I had the toks, however they were dying on us and didnt feel right, very bouncy and sluggish. Changed to koni adjustables. have them set at the hardest setting. Steering is much more accurate with less slop and the cornering ability feels much less out of control. I am extremel happy with them. I have had them for about 3 months now. 130 each with install.

I love my front adjustable Koni's. They make a huge difference plus you can adjust them to whatever you want. Potholes aren't bad, but ruts and bumps are very harsh. If you don't have dash rattles when you go over bumps, you will with Koni's set on the firmer settings. I like the Koni's because I will be able to adjust them to max firmness at the 1/4 mile track, improving my 60 foot. I've got KYB GR-2s in the rear because I'm waiting for Koni to come out with adjustable rear strut that is like the fronts. The current rear Koni's have to be removed to adjust firmness. The KYBs are very firm and compliment the Koni's just fine for now.
Bottom line: get the Koni fronts ATLEAST. You won't be disappointed.

Konis...worth it? Yesseerrrriii!
I concur with the replies so far.
I got them too. I got all 4, and YES I wished that Koni made the rears adjustable with a **** like the front pair. I had to remove and adjust 2 times to get to the firmness to just how I like it.
Get them. I got them for about $130 + shipping to Hawaii and did the install myself. The fronts require cutting of of the OE strut housing and inserting the Konis in, the rears are straight pop in.

would it make any sense to just get the konis for the front of my 97SE and leave the rear alone? I'm not trying to be cheap, this just looks like the best to do for now until the rear adjustables come out? opinions please (I have a stock SE suspension + sway bar + strut bar + 17x8 wheels soon) I don't care too much about the drop, but I do want it a little lower, performance it the priority. so what next?

Koni rears?
I also did the same to the front, but with a simple twist of the **** that came with the struts. Why can't they do that to the rears, I don't know.
