Bass Rattling Car - HELP!

Whats up guys? I have a quick question. I have 2 12" subs in the trunk of my car, and they rattle everything. The bass sounds good on the inside of the car, but on the outside, it sounds awful. It just sounds like nothing but metal vibrating. I tried Dynamatting my trunk lid, but that didn't do a whole lot - although it did help a little bit. Please help! I want it to sound good when I ride past people as well as in the car. Thanks!

In my old car with a speakers in the trunk most of the rattling outside was from the liscense plate. Try putting some weather stripping or rubber washers in the back. Other than that just listen to where each rattle is and try and be creative. Your trunk lid will probably always rattle against the latch holding it down.

Wrap the stock car jack in a blanket. It rattles in the trunk.
