My friends sellin me some wheels. They are vold te37 with helllla worned tires. He didnt give me a price but i heard that rays engineering is very very expensive. 17s. White finish. I think they are 1000 right? Used? Does a prelude bolt pattern match the maximas?

I believe Prelude hubs have 4 lugs. Maxima bolt pattern is 5x114.3 in which case, no, they won't fit.

and 17" TE-37's typically retail for more than $2k. without tires.

Those rims will fit your car fine. And $1000 is a great deal. Are both of you all the same transmission? If so, it should be close. No clear cut winner. Otherwise the 5spd driver should win.
