for those who know me, you shouldn't be surprise, i'm known for changing my mind too often.


fyi, i'm not going to get the 97-99 trunk lid after all. i'll just wait for the type ii spoiler by shadow to come out, problem is my trunk has holes exposed because my stock spoiler(broke)is no longer on there.


anyway, i was thinking of getting some new rims. i have decided to go with 18" volk te37s in bronze. too bad they are just so expensive, and that's not including the tires yet. so i was thinking maybe i should just keep my black rims you see in my sig. problem is they are heavy, about 48lbs with tires(tires actually weigh more than rims). then again, w/o the sc now, i'm not exactly fast by any means. so, i shouldn't worry about that right? i could also get lighter tires perhaps. the dunlop sp9000s i have now are around 25lbs each. any recommedation on lighter tires?


if i keep the black rims, with the money saved from not buying the volks, i could spend it on something else. i was thinking maybe a level ten stage one rebuild, cost around $700-$800 and a jwt ecu which is around $500-$600. what do you think?

any other suggestions? thanks.

 

Get the ECU, then the Level ten upgrade, then resend your ECU back to JWT and get the NOS upgrade.

 

well, i think i'm going to keep the black rims afterall. i just went to a tire shop to have two of the tanrums removed from the tires so i can get it repowercoated.


btw, the stock goodyear rsa tires are just crap. it was raining outside, light rain and i was slipping and sliding all over the place. good thing i didn't cause any accident.
