When I clean out the throttle body to my car, should it be done while the engine is warm or cold? I'm thinking if its warm, since its a liquid, it could cause something to warp. Now if the engine is cold, especially how cold it is now in the midst of winter, it could also do damage. When should be the best time to clean the throttle body of the car?

the can gives directions

I believe the stuff says to do it when the engine is cool, but read the can to be sure.

It doesn't matter. I prefer cleaning them when the engine is slightly warm.

Yeah not for the engine's sake but to keep my freezing hands warm! Nah it doesn't really matter. Especially if you take the TB off anyway.
