Has anyone ever heard or had a RT Cat start rattling? I think the core material has disbonded from the casing.....i check all the bolts......its not the flex section on my budget after all.

Of course my main exhaust hanger (0the one the supports the Cat) is half broken.....this might be the problem. Even tho the bolts are tight if i support the cat just a bit more or old the flanges the noise seems to go away.....

Regardless....ill replaces the hanger....being that this section of exhaust is under alot of stress when under hard acceleration...45$....no big deal I suppose.

Still going to get a test pipe tho!

Well I just picked up a new cat support bracket.... 48$...nice and shiny zinc coating.....might as well fix it right. If this doesnt fix the rattle and the cat is indeed self destructing ill send it back to opt auto or rt.....and go with a straight pipe.

Man I hate messing with exhaust systems.....

Though with out the rattle...it sound so mean
