Honestly, what looks the best? You can break it down to year if you like too. I know most everyone will be partial and the answer could just come down to which maxima most people own. I'm really no exception in that respect. I like the 97 and I think it's the best looking I've ever seen. I may get the 3.5 or even the V8 in the near future when I'm outta school and have a job. The V8 max I have seen is rather hideous, though. Don't you agree? The rear of the 5th gen has always been a gripe of mine, too. But the rest looks good enough and with a 3.5, I would still get it if I had the dough. But even if I had a 6-speed 3.5 (which I would love to have), and this post had been put up by someone else, I would list the 97 as the best looking. So what do you guys think?

IMHO

3rd and 4th gen's(97-99's) look the best the 5th and 6th gen's are too "hard" to style but there are many 5th gen's out there that really look good modded

5th gens look the best because they are the most curvacious (wrong spelling). a black or white 5th gen on 20 inch chrome is one of the best looking cars in the world IMO.

He probably saw the M45. I saw one last weekend at an auto show, and I agree, it is pretty ugly. Waaaaay too conservatively styled, resembled a Mistu Diamante. Actually, that's being unfair to the Diamante.

Anniversery Editions

(JDM style) Headlights
17inch wheels
Red Clears
(stillen style) bodykit
and a nice interior

I really like 4th gens, and the new 3.5's (especialy the headlights,) but would preffer them with red clears instead of altezza styled tailights. Any Max is a good Max

When I say I "saw" it, I was referring to pics somebody posted on the org, pictures of a car that I also saw on edmunds.com as the 2004 future vehicle maxima. Here's the link, cynic: http://www.edmunds.com/future/2004/n...tml?id=lin0830

Edmunds says the same VQ3.5 is expected to be in the 2004, but I had read reports that the M45 engine may be in the new max, partly to separate it further from the altima. I have been reading a lot of posts here on the org too where people are starting to think more that the latter may be true. So, I'm sorry that I stated a rumor as fact. Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me!

While I'm at it, to all you pious ****** who gripe about repeated posts: Why post your thoroughly unwanted two cents in here? It only brings the post to the top of the list where more people are likely to see it and post in it again. If I have offended you, let me just say that it's probaly because the words apply to you in the full sense, so go suck an egg or something.

To everyone else, thanks for your input. The kit on the 20th ann is pretty nice. I've seen another kit on some 5th gens on the org that make it look pretty good too. But the 97-99's with the stillen kit still look better to me.
