Trans/Axle problems

Ok, I am seriously puzzled. I had my passage side axle replaced, now the car feels very heave, I’m getting a slight vibration at low and high speeds. It’s hard to explain but, the car feels like it doesn’t want to go. The shifts have gotten a little harder in 3rd. check the Trans fluid and it looks fine. Anyone know what could be the problem? The car was fine before the axle went in. The shop is telling me it’s the Trans and the company I got the axle from is telling me there is no way an axle would cause the problem that I’m describing. I drive this car every day I know when something is wrong. It’s driving me nuts!

I may be way off, but check to make sure that they put the three screws back in that hold the CV Axle to a bracket on the car. If not, then I have no idea except to take it back to them and have them re-do the procedure.
