People making Maxima Videos...

Hey everyone,
I had a question for those of you that make the videos found around here and other places on the net. I am getting a Canon GL1 for christmas with a few accesories. I am curious what editing / video software you people recomend or use. I am intrested in those of you that use effects, text scrolling etc. If you found that program easy to use or what not. Would you recomend it to someone else or buy it again if shopping around? I am hoping to maybe make some video's eventually or even just for the sake of other videos.

I am looking for software for the PC for right now so if you use software that is anly made for the MAC please just makea note of it.

Thanks Everyone.

SuDZ

and for the less rich (or low bandwidth people ), you can try Ulead Video Studio, Windows Media Maker, or anything thats free that you can find ou there on the net. Personally, I use a combination of Adobe Premiere and After Effects....but whos got $1700 on stupid computer programs

I would start off with the ulead, then move up. It is difficult to figure out the adobe, so besure to pirate the instructions and make GOOD friends with Luke. He's saved my but with adobe 2 or 3 times.

There is nothing like Adobe but the program costs a arm and a leg.
