someone killed my car

I thought I'd share the bad news... 2 weeks ago on this day I was going out to a club with a few buddies. It was a pretty rainy night here in NY, and I guess the driver did'nt see me coming or he just didnt feel like waiting for the light to turn green. So, Mr. Buttface runs a red, hits the side of my car, causing me to loose control and then crash into a near-by utility post at 35mph. The car is totaled, but thank god for insurence.

I don't think I'm getting a 3rd Maxima though, GTI MK4 vr6? Mmm. I took pictures of the damage, I havnt scanned them yet, I'll have them up in a few days. Warning: you'll cry when you see the damage.

I'm not leaving the org though.
Hope NY guys dont mind a nonmaxima at maxima meets
-Alex

yea, and I agree with lime..don't get a VW. Those are the gayest cars on the road. Get a 4th gen Maxima, but for the love of God don't get a p#ssywagon.

When a completely stock looking but CHIPPED 1.8T VW blows your a$$ right out of the water in your "heterosexual" Maxima, I don't think you'll be calling it "ghey" then.

Resist the VW!
My buddy's new 1.8t golf has left him stranded 3 times and it's got like 8,000 miles on it. He's got an attorney involved now because of the "lemon law" thing.

I just got back 20 min. ago from a 2,000 mile trip with my '97 maxima (111,000 hard driven miles). Still no problems.

p.s. Most people I know think VW's are chick cars. I will agree that the chipped ones are pretty cool though.

just my not-so-humble opinion

Yup, reliability is the one thing that prevents me from considering VW's.

Chick cars or not, they lay down a lot of smack in the small car market. A Jetta/Golf 1.8T / VR6 5spd will give any 3.0 Maxima 5spd a good run for its money, and lay waste to pretty much any freakin Civic. I respect that.

Why wasn't the Honda Civic on that list?
