First someone would have to get there 02 heads ported and polished and find out... I'm pretty sure no ones done that yet, heck, hardly any 4th gens have even done that... with the HP the 3.5L is pushing out, I'm sure the gains wouldn't be that big, but hey, that's just my opinion. If you want more info on it, check here

depending on how much he charges I dont really think its worth doing unless the manifold is already off the car

Reboring the exhaust manifolds won't help at all - see this link.

hmm i think Don was referring to the exhaust manifold... It all depends... you might gain hp you might not its just like if you have it off the car and have some extra money to play around with then go for it... more exhaust flow and intake flow cant be bad

It could also depends on the other mods you have. I mean if you did it as your first mod probably nothing, but with other free flowing mods it could give a bit more.

It all depends if "port and polish" whatever that means would do anythng in the first place.

port and polish

if you pull the heads to port and polish you should do everything while you have them off, like 4 pt valve job, new cams, and port and polish. if you do the heads you should do the intake manifolds also.

Re: port and polish

This assuming you don't actually decrease the head's efficency right?

Right. Porting is a delicate balancing act. People think that the bigger the passages are, the better, but that's not the case. You need a balanced port that will give you useable power.
