Need a Car Starter around $200 any suggestions?

Hey guys,

I live in MN and it is getting frickin cold so please give me suggestions on what to get. I heard Viper is good but have little other knowledge on this topic. I do need to keep price around 200 which sucks.

if you have keyless entry stock, most reputable shops can install a starter unit for like $150 and still use your factory remote which should give you better distance

just fyi....it's not good to let your car sit and warm up for any longer than 45 seconds to 1min.

why is that? I let it sit for 5 min every morning caz there is no freakin way i am sitting in a cold car.

I'm no expert but I think it is something to do with the fact that you have your car running so there are parts moving (metal on metal) and its only when the car is in motion that certain fluids get to these parts. So when you remote start your car and leave it running parts are being worn down.

I just remember something like that for a post awhile ago.

Sam's Club (Walmart Wholesale) was selling a kit for $50 last year. It came with a video on how to install and looked pretty decent.
