Is $120 a good price for...
I just called up tire rack to order the sumitomo tires and they directed me to a local shop for install. Shop said that they will charge $120 to mount, balance and dispose the tires. Life time rotation and balancing is included.
Sounds like a good deal?

I think its a good deal because u get lifetime balancing and rotations for free. Go for it. You could get it done for like $80 at walmart but if u get free lifetime offer take it.

NTB gives you free ROTATIONS whenever customer or not for life...but balances are 7.99-17.99 depending on size.

i paid $120 to have the BEST shop mount and balance my 18s. places like NTB and Merchants and Goodyear would be between $50-$80. if you are paying $120 it should be a good shop with good equipment. if you dont care about the quality so much then you can definitely find a cheaper place.

I would not trust NTB, Sears or Costco to mount expensive rims. They will scratch up and ding up your rims 95% of the time. I guess I'm just **** like that. I go to same shop where local BMW, Porche and Viper owners go to get their tires mounted. Instead of metal tools, these speciality shops will use plastic tip tools to prevent damage to expensive wheels.
