a question for those that did the hyperground mod

how did u do your battery ground? i noticed that the factory cable was grounded once by the battery tray then the end of it was grounded by the engine. well, i replaced the cable with 2 guage RF cable but i didn't "double-ground" it.

the last 2 days i have been having crazy electrical problems. my dash would go completely dead while driving then come back on when i tapped my brakes. well i put back my old factory wiring and now everythin is fine.

how did you guys do it?

I did mine, but I just added to the existing wires. I left the stock battery wire in place, and just supplemented it. It worked fine and I never had any problems. check out the NW forum under ground wires for pics.

Here's what I did:

I left the existing ground wires intact, include the very important negative battery post wire-to-body-to-engine ground intact.

Starting from the passenger side of the engine compartment:

I installed a wire from the alternator bracket ground point to the engine bracket ground point.

I installed a wire from the engine bracket ground point to the negative battery post.

I installed a wire from each of the two intake manifold grounds (2 wires from the fuel injector harness loom grounding on the intake manifold) to the factory battery-to-body ground point (next to the battery tray like you mentioned).

Everything is fine and my motor revs smoother

My bro installed on top of stock wiring. No issues, just a meaner sounding exhaust and probably 5-10hp butt dyno boost.
