So what about 7th gen?

Ok, so the 6th gen might have the lifespan of this thread...

How about this for a 7th gen?

I think it's drop dead sexy

Obviously, the 7th gen will also share the Altima's platform.

That car has it all!

-Nicer hood scoop than the WRX
-A wing that makes ricers jealous
-a horn trucks wish they had
-better than HID headlights..it has chrome powered headlights
-2 inch rims for the lowrider effect
-NO WHEEL GAP
-a little guy on the front grill that makes the jaguar jealous
-large antenna for loud music
-lots of leg room (look at that backseat!)

Wow, no lock yet. But seriously..to save this thread, I think that episode of the simpsons was a critique of the direction the automotive industry was taking in the mid 90s.

Now, we see a lot of crazy concepts because since everyone is making radical designs, not just one automaker (Crossfire = foooogly), there's not much the consumer can do but pick the best looking ugly car.

I'm expecting 2008 will see the 7th gen's introduction. Hopefully by then we've either all gotten used to the 6th gen, or things get subtle again like the early 90s (cough..3rd gen.. cough)

where can i buy that homer toy? that thing is friggen awesome! good episode.

i think it's obvious that the image for the 4DSC is long gone and they've moved to a more refined luxury/classy look. i'm not sure how i feel about the pictures, but that could all change once i see one in person.

Nah...it's my political statement towards the modern design of Nissan...and since it involves the maxima in general.. wouldn't this thread be at home in a General Maxima forum?
