Got them from a groupbuy for only 15 dollars. :-) They look so sweet, almost comparable to HID's in output.

I have been running HID type 85W bulbs in my stock harness for 2 months now with no problems yet. I have, in the past week, ordered the APC harness just because everyone has insisted that it is necessary. I know the fog light wires are of a gauge that can handle the extra power as I checked it myself, but the headlamps are right on the edge. I just don't feel like risking it anymore as it is more expensive to fix things if they go wrong than to get the harness, IMHO.

Well, wait 6 months and we will see ->

And don't be all pissed off because your headlight harness burned or your headlight switch fried. Don't say we didn't warn you.

I guess it's better to listen than be stubborn. I'll have to order the harness

soon. Where is a good place to order them for a decent price?

I got mine from http://www.jegs.com. It's made by APC, so most place can get them.

the 80/85s may not fry the wiring but they did melt my stock harness. had to pay $65 to the dealer to get it replaced. better to get the harness.
