clutch problems?

hi, i was just curious. how do you know when you need a new clutch? everytime i shift gears on my car, i hear this weird noise coming from my right tire... i dont know whether its my clutch or not..thanks,

If you're not sure, have it checked by a mechanic. If you feel like a DIY fix, buy a repair manual and read up!
