Seafoam additive

I was wondering if anybody has tried Seafoam in the Maximas. Seafoam is a fuel/oil additive that promises to get rid of carbon deposits, sludge and lubricate in the process. The Fbody owners love it!

Seafoam write-up

I may try it with the wife's minivan, my guinea pig

I never used it in my Maxima, but my brother used it in his '86 Olds 442 and in his '84 Hurst/Olds. The stuff works great. Just make sure you're not close to a busy street...lots of fumes!

Is that what Kurt Cobain was talking about in the Nirvana song "All Apologies"? In one line, he says "I'll take all the blame...
Aqua seafoam shame". Maybe he tried it in his wife's car and messed it up, and now he's in hot water. Might want to be careful doing this.

It's ok, she'll never know.
We're ready to dump the darn thing pretty soon anyways...
