What problems could weak motor mounts cause?
Right now I'm suspecting that either I have 1) transmission bearing problems or 2) weak engine mounts. I have had 2 drivers side axle seals fail in less than 8,000 miles.
So, my question to everyone is could weak engine mounts cause leaking seals or other drivetrain problems?

I think Eric Wong and others have stated that persistent leaky output shaft seals on the tranny was a sign of bad bearings in the tranny. But I would certainly research your motor mount theory also. It's much cheaper and logical to fix the motor mounts(if broken) then to just dive into a rebuilt tranny.
