Good choice on selling them. I like the wheels on 3rd gens, but they just seem to look very small on the 4th gens for some reason.

When going to aftermarket rims, it's all about style. Of course the most important thing is that you like the rims.

imho you don't want anything less than 8" wide. Kinda like e-long-gate says, 8" is better than 5". my hotel had that channel

Also, there is style to rims unless you're an all-out autocrosser in which you want lower weight. 5 spokes are way out of style, so unless they're steep discount, I would pay top $ for them. 7 spoke or more is the style today. doesn't mean that 3-4 years from now 5-spoke wont be back en vogue. They're just out for now. my .02 is to find a reasonably priced rim that has 7 spokes or just keep the stockers which are 5 anyway.

I'm open for suggestions...

need something around 120-160$ per wheel... 17's or 18's.. preferably a simple 5 spoke design

at first i said the rota when i saw the first pic of them alone but when u match them up on the car the borbet look a lot better IMO. 5 star rims look best on the 4th gen, even though they might be a little OEM, i would rather get those borbets...

I sure will enjoy them bro...the hard part for me right now is figuring out if I should get Sumitomo HTR+ or Pirelli P7000's

My opinion, forget about the borbets man, go for 18"'s like you said...you're gonna end up changing your mind after you've got the borbets....my $.02

The Kosei Pentas that maxed up was selling are really nice, although you might have to go 18" to keep the same look because of the lip.

Guys and Girls: Uh... yeah Cyrus, that's neat...so anyways, Craig...

They should look great on your car.. when I took them out of the box in the daylight I was like WOAH.. lol. They were in my basement in boxes since UPS brought them to me..
Let me know what's up with the tails.. I'll have a set ready in a week or so..

They sure are nice. Once again I hesitated because I already had wheels and they sold out instantly. The price was good too. I still want them though.. best of both worlds, look good to me and light weight. But they are so rare, not many places carry them..

Frank has a point...unless you're hardcore racing or auto-crossing, weight shouldn't be a deciding factor in selecting rims. The most important thing is that the buyer likes the rims on his/her car and it meets their expectations. I guess it all depends on what your goals are for your car...cruiser, drag racer, auto-crosser, etc.

I do disagree on 5 spokes being out of style. On the contrary, I think a good 5 spoke is a timeless design. They have been in vougue since the 60's when Cragar came out with the S/S. Five spoke wheels have come on factory cars and been sold in the aftermarket in every decade since the 60's. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a 5 spoke design as they remain timeless in their appeal.
