Supercharged Guys: When people ask you what kind of car you drive, what do you say?

When people ask you what kind of car do you own, do you say Maxima or Supercharged Maxima? What about when in your local autozone, discount auto parts, ect. and need a part and the guy asks what kind of car you have? I think I would just say Maxima in that case, but I would probubly say "A supercharged Maxima" otherwise.

Feel free to post too so I know which of you guys said what.

mnay times that I answered this qeustion..."Maxima". most of them replied, "oh! the new Nissan 350z is pretty damn fast" I dunno if they just want to talk about cars....or Maximas are just not a fast car in their book.

[maxi-overdose]: They probubly figured you were a "Nissan Enthusiasts" as well and brought up the 350z since it is the hot topic of Nissan lately. And like most people I doubt they know the full potential of the Minima, ESPECIALLY blown.

The guy at my Autozone cares . Actually he heard my BOV as I was pulling in, so he asked what I had done to it, and now he's always asking for updates.

There's still parts on your car you can replace at Autozone?

Haha. I just go there to get maintenance stuff like oil and miscellaneous crap. And a few tools.

Next thing you know, I may pick up a neon shift **** and an APC windshield banner....

Those are the only mods left on your car! When are you getting those? Make sure to get the BLUE **** so it flows with the color of your car

I'd tell them, "it's that Maxima over there with intake and exhaust work.".

BTW, even with the blower, that LS1 SS is going to run from you in any kind of a race. You're talking about a car that's capable of low low 13s STOCK vs a tempermental SC Maxima. You're Max might be able to run 13.6-13.7@102mph on lightweight rims, whereas that SS should be able to pull off a 13.4@106mph+ quite easily.

just say 'maxima' man,

then leave em wondering why they 'just beat a maxima the other day...but they cant beat you'

If you say "Supercharged Maxima" and they spank you with their NA or whatever car....they will get even more hyped over the spankin...

Id rather leave em like... "WTF??? A maxima???"

Dave,

Wouldn't you agree that Camaro LS1's are significantly underrated from the factory? I think they put down more power then their numbers suggest. I think they did it so people wouldn't buy them over the Corvette.

I hear ya on that. I will probubly say both, but I will say "Maxima" more then "supercharged Maxima"...for example, if someone comes up and goes dang man what have you done to it? I would say Supercharged, but if someone's looking for a race, I'll say "Stock V6". But the Gauges and ear peircing whine might give me away.
