Raybestos Pads and the quality of their shims?

I just purchased a set of these pads for the fronts from Pep Boys for $50. I see it comes with its own shims... has anyone replaced those with the OEM ones?

It probably won't matter.... but I went ahead and used the disc quiet goo with the shims anyway, just to be safe... up to you.

Prob. no biggie because I forgot to replace the outer shims when I used Nissan OEM. No squeals ever since the replacement.

I bought Raybestos QS pads for front and rear and used their self adhesive shims. I liked the fact they were self adhesive and they seemed to be quality shims. Only been 3 months but the brakes are totally quiet! I definitely use them.
