I'm thinking about adding a remote start. Has anyone done this. Does it work ok, with our keyless entry? Do you guys recommend a certain brand. Any info. is greatly appreciated.

Go w/clifford advant guard 4. it's the best that's out there. not exactly the cheapest but you'll get your money's worth

viper dei 800esp is not bad. i run it. love it. you gotta replaec your whole alarm system.. u can get the single remote start systems tho.. but would you like two remotes on a keychain?? i wouldn't..

as for a aftermarket alarm u'll hafta buy the brain (main unit) and the remote start module (component) adn the chip bypass since we got encoded keys.. well at least the 5th gen does (component) and u gotta get htem to hook it up to ur car. that's not cheap whiel your at it might as well get the auto window crack module (component) it rolls your windows down at the touch of a button while u are away from the car. it helps if you forget to roll ur windows down after u leave.
