WheelsWorks warranty... still valid after car sold?

y0! I need your experience/thoughts on this. I bought my maxima from my cousin about more than half a year ago. He told me that when he bought the tires he also bought the lifetime tire protection plan (free replacement of tire, free balancing/rotations anytime). I don't know if the company/store WheelsWorks are national but that's where he got it from. Now, would this "plan" still be valid after selling the car? I would think it would be because as long as I have the car it should be fine right? The problem is my cousin lost the papers for it but he said it would be still in their systems. What do you think... would it still be valid for me?

BTW, I KNOW that i should just call and find out but it is 9:25PM now and I just wanted to know right now. I plan to call tomorrow anyways... Actually, I did call them once and asked him about it but he told me to check the warranty paper and he hung up on me. Blah anyways, any experience w/ WheelsWorks? Thanks.

Well, I can only guess and say that the warranty is transferable through the original person it was issued to..

Same goes for many other warranties on car products such as stereo.

I bought my Pioneer headunit used from someone and he had 10 months left on the warranty. While I myself could not file a warranty claim, the person I got the deck could.

So if it is on your cousin, he could probably still take advantage...
