Sunroof on the max?????
go for it
When i got my 96 gxe used from the dealer it came with a hollandia sunroof. I don't know if the dealer did it or the previous owner. Anyway, it looks perfect and you'd never know it wasn't OEM. No leaks, works beautifully, it is a little bit noisy at highway speeds but I think it's because I don't have a wind deflector.
Anyway, during the summer it adds so much to the car, I would never get a car without a sunroof. Go for it.

A friend of mine bought a used car in which the previous owner had put in an aftermarket sunroof. It looked great and functioned well. I wish I had a sunroof in my max, but due to all the salt in the air (here in Hawaii) it would probably rust in a few years even with maintenence. If I wash my car in the evening, and let it sit overnight, there is a thin salt film on the car by the morning.
sunroofs...
I imagine this is a RARE case, andyou shouldn't be worried but...My friend in a Mazda 626 had his factory sunroof actually fly out of the car and onto the road...SMASH...(it was broken and not sitting right, wind must ahve caught it when we were doing 100...) Well this was very rare because usually nobody looses the frame, it's only a glas break. he cou;dn't find anyplace to do it. Finally a specialty sunroof place would for a lot of dough and NO WARANTEE, and they amde them sign saying any problems aren't they're fauklt (difficult job because of rolled metal they said?) Well now in car washes he gets a little bit of leakage...it sucks.
