To me these formulas and number looks like French, but I know they show a valuable info about each particular map

If you can host them any maps will do. My three had no particular purpose, I just grab them out there.

I found some good information with googles, but I'm still lost with the different calculations and numbers

I'm just looking for a simple ABC and 123 explanation, don't really have to get too technical

Definetely good info Matt.

Here are a few questions maybe you or someone can answer.

1. What is the best efficiency % I should be looking at when getting a turbo? Or is that all dependant on what I want to do? I hear if it around 75% then you are over working the turbo.... Im lose on this slightly.

2. What if I plot a point that doesnt even hit the map, like lower than the map, does that mean Im in turbo lag and inefficient?

Basically where I fail to get these maps is that the turbo gives me different psi depending on what I send from the boost controller. So I would have to plot a rack of points and see what is best for me. Also when Im looking at a turbo lets say a t3/t04e, which one do I look at when looking at a map, the t3 or the t04e?

Sorry for the dumbazz questions.

there will be a map for that particular turbo somewhere..

if the points are below the chart, then you just won't make boost, period. it would be wise to choose a smaller turbo then- as long as you don't go over the top of the map on the high end of your RPM range.
