Whaddya guys think about this bodykit?

Didn't post in the 'design a kit' thread because I'm not sure I'd actually want this on my Max, but thought I'd throw it out there for comments. Also, thanks to everyone who commented on my chops in the other thread. Let's hope it actually happens...by mid-spring or so

Anyways, this is a so-called "widebody" kit, with an M3-inspired front end. Personally, I'm not sure I can even recognize the max under there anymore...

I agree, it looks too much like an Accord bodykit. If you can, slightly change the whole front end, and also the front fenders.....

Where did you get that picture?

Did you make that design up yourself or did you see it and link it from some place else??? just curious, i do like the new style, the rims are also a great match.

Well, i guess i found Superloon, what is your connection to them?

It looks good but then like said before it looks like an accord.
And I don't want people thinking I have an accord. Plus there would be much body work to be done to get that look.

I love it....put that in production..I think it looks great. As for looking like accord ....the whole car does not resemble an accord...I think that compiments the front end wonderfully

i think it looks more like a M3 or M5 than a accord because it flows. it's smooth without any parts of it bulging out

awesome job

accord?

Huh, I was thinking it looked more like a Dodge Stratus

Thanks for all the feedback folks. I figured it would be a mixed bag of responses, but I generally agree with everyone.

IMHO, the basic shape and design of the Max has been one of its strong suits, and slapping such a heavyweight kit on is... well, just not my style, I guess. Maybe I'll keep working on it a bit.

Yeah, mebbe he and I should go into business

That one is just plain sick. I'm not sure why Greg at Custom Maxima didn't put that on his short list. Gonna have to email him.

Me too.

The only problem I see with production of that kit is the narrow lights may be hard to integrate. Would be possible though.

I like both designs but what I like about the new one is that the bumper lines are that of an accord or I30, not that of a Maxima... your bumpers cut off at the corner lights, unlike ours that wrap around. What would it cost to get something like that in a prototype form?

this kit is bad, just put the regular slots for the bumper lights and it's perfect. you can still have stock fogs and stocks bumpers.
but what does the rear look like?

I really dont like the "widebody" one, but as stated in the other thread, I really like this other one. I noticed it looks one helluva lot like the M5 front end when I saw one in a parking lot yesterday.

I like it... but the back part looks weird.. u gotta even that out a bit, just disappearing into the back fenders looks a bit awkward. I love it otherwise tho

But i'd much prefer this one (because it would cost less too) :
