When I got out of the theaters at Mercado 20 in Santa Clara, i noticed somebody keyed two lines across both of my driver side doors. I'm so ****ed off at these kids who have nothing better to do than hate on others' cars. it's so bad that this place has that reputation. anyway... i just wanted to vent. thanks for reading. hahaha

Time for a new paint job.

 

i want to, but my parents aren't cool with it. besides, it's not bad enough to repaint the whole car.

 

mann....if your not gonna repaint the car...you might as well just pocket the money to spray it....and save up for a job...cuz i know your kit isnt painted yet.....otherwise we might be able to find a shop that will paint all that stuff for the price insurance gives you.

 

all i have to say is that sucks but be happy that you didnt get keyed on both sides. SOmeone keyed 2 lines on each side getting a total of 7 panels. the damage estimate was $1700. funny thing is i have nothing done to it when it got keyed. also, i want to mention it was in front of my house.

 

omg when i went to see lord of the rings, I parked my car BEHIND the Mercado theatre... it was all dark and stuff back there, i was so terrified my car would get jacked but I had no choice because i was getting late. Where did you park your car?! It's been a while since i've been there now haha, now i'm gonna be paranoid when i park there.

ahh sorry to hear that Thats one of my worst fears about parking, even worse than door dings. Thats why I take my dads van out when I go in town.

Man i feel u. My max got keyed but not like lines but some idiot wrote on it. I was so ****ed. Now my max is getting repaited with metallic black ill get it back thursday.

 

the day I catch someone breaking into or vandalizing my car is probably gonna be the day I go to jail, I have no respect or sympathy for people that damamge or steal from other peoples cars. Most of them have that "oh he has a nice car? who the **** does he think he is? let me show him whos better now" mentality.

This is my worst fear, that someone will come along and key my car and with my color that I have something like this would cost me big money.

btw how deep are the key marks? are they too deep to compound out?

in Tucson has. The problem there is theft. Cars get boosted, on the
highway within about 30 seconds and into Mexico within 2 hours. So,
by the time most people would know there car is gone it's already in
a chop shop.
