I SERIOUSLY need help!! QUICK car is out of commission!!

I was wirring my cars corning lights I am installing on the fenders. I yanked the turns signal clear lens on the front bumper and wired the new fender blinkers with that wire. I fired it up and now my blinkers are blinking twice as fast as they were! Does anyone know what would have caused this? I have the car in pieces RIGHT now...so a response right now would be GREAT!
Thanks,

cant answer specifically but
I have a 98 so no cornering lamps. But I'm just guessing that a cornering lamp set-up would have some sort of relay, just like fogs. In other words, with the fogs the battery would power them, but another lead such as low-beam headlamps allows the fogs to go on when the lows are on and off when the highs are on. So if you're blinking fast, sounds like you're drawing power from somewhere you're not supposed to, or a lamp is blown. Anyone know if what I say makes sense? Again, I'm only venturing a guess.

I don't know exact how it may be caused, but, the sensor of the turn signal failure sensor thinks that you have a blown bulb....what's most likely wrong is the resistance of the new turn signal assembly. If I knew the exact specs for your car, I'd supply them. THat's my best guess. If anyone hasa blown 1156 bulb, measure the resistance of that compared to a fresh 1156 bulbs. I'm guessing that there should a difference in resistance.
Can someone verify that for me?

Ok...
I was TESTING it without the turnsignal and it 'thought' the car had a blown bulb. ONce I connected the new 'fender' cornering light and the orignal turnsignal all was fine I will post pics tomorrow....it looks great!
