Interested in hearing from folks who have had experience with these different width tires who can speak to the road noise difference specifically. I'm running 235 S-03's on my Type-C's (18"x8.5") right now and am not particularly happy with the road noise. Although I am thinking that I will dynamat the trunk to lessen the newly added vibration a bit, I wanted to hear anybody who had gone to wider tires and noticed a decrease in road noise.

Anybody have any thoughts? I think I'd like to stick with the Pole Positions and just go to a 255 or 245 (maybe 255 in the rear and 245 in the front). I would also take feedback about the quiet tires out there. The Pilot Sport A/S on my OE 17's were not particularly quiet either (louder than the OE RE92's).

 

Nobody has any thoughts on tire size and road noise, huh?
