Did I Mess Up My Transmission?

I let my girlfriend drive my car and we were stopped at the light. She wanted to see how fast my car goes so I told her she could floor it when the light turns green. I didn't realize the car was in "2" and she floored it up to 60-65MPH. Did I damange my transmission? I drove for about 100miles after that and I didn't feel any difference.
1998 Auto Maxima.

No harm done. Worst thing that would have happened is she hit the rev limiter.

but that's not technically bad right? All it would have done is bounced off of it w/o damaging anything... perhaps excessive wear? Just curious too

Nothing would haver happened, the car would have felt like it was stuttering from the fuel cutoff. Alarming but not really bad for the car.

The only bad thing you did was let your g/f drive your car fast, now she's going to find any excuse to want to drive your car and leave you with whatever she has (probably a 4banger camry, everybody's g/f has one of those).

Moderation is key. Just don't go hitting the rev limiter 5x a day and you should be straight.

My ex-girlfriend has a 4-banger Camry.

I hit my rev limiter all the time...
Maybe that's why I blew up my engine last month with only 35K miles on it...
Hmm...
That and track racing...
Food for thought...
(I did expect the VQ30 to be a little stronger though)

Too funny.
I find Pontiac Sunfires are also common g/f cars.

Toronto, Canada.
It's such a common thing here...don't know why.
I guess they like the small cheap 2 door automatic thing.
