I went by Dya's Nissan in Auburn today to see how much strut bearings would be, he said the parts are $20 per side, which doesnt seem too bad. Then, just for ***** and giggles, I asked how much they charge to install shocks and struts all the way around. Hopefully I'll be getting some new Tokicos soon. Anyway, they said (drum roll pelase):

$400!!!!!

I had to run out the door to keep from laughing in the guys face.

Kinda like those Midas commercials. $19.95 for the muffler, but you need all the pipes and it costs almost 300 beans when you're done. The muffler lasts forever.

I hate to rain on your parade there, bud, but I went to a very trustworthy mom and pop spot here where I live and still walked out minus $400.

I got my Koni's done for $200 and that included replacing the cartridges in the front struts. It was 2 hours of work so about $50/hour.

I wouldn't pay more than $300. Not worth it when it's so easy to do your self.
