My 98 GLE came with Aftermarket Wind deflectors attached, the drivers side makes noise against the wind at speeds over 50, but the passenger one is nice and quiet.

I mentioned this to the Nissan tech when I went in for an oil change, and also the fact that my brakes squeak at low speeds, and they claim it's because the brake pads and the wind deflectors are after market (!?!?!?!?)

Any suggestions on what I can do to get rid of that noise (they offered to yank them off, but I wasn't keen on that)

The brakes are quieter now as I they cleaned them out.

 

Am I the only one experiencing the noise???

 

How secure is the wind deflector??? If your pads are new they may squeal on braking for a while until they get broken in... It happens sometimes... if they squeal even when your not on them then you may have a problem...
