maybe this will be good for Kevin because he might need it for his future gauges/electronic devices.

anyways, I am supposed to have this done 3 months ago and I have the gauge pod sitting in my trunk all the time....The install was quick...about 2 hours max, including rewiring my tranny temp gauge.

I didnt have time to route the wiring behind the console. To do so, I might have to drill another hole on the AC vent.

That will work well with fuel and oil pressure gauges.

Could you bring that on Saturday please?

Dont you think it is Aimed too low? Might have to cut the back and angle it more to the eyelevel than for a 3yr old eye level

I dont have to trim the back of the pod. I can push it forward a little bit (it is adjustable btw) but it will leave gaps on the side. It's ok for my eye level.

the pod seems aiming a bit low in the first picture because the angle that I took the picture.

Damn Dix that's EXACTLY what I was thinking.

[maxi],

Are you going to PAINT the A-pillar and dual pod gray to match?

to match my steering wheel cover?

I think I will some day......Andy (Asu174) has suggested a brand of spray paint that matches the interior color.

It goes with the "Ask me about my Grandkids" front tag...

...oh wait, I drive a beige car.

I love the gauge pod but I wish it blended better with the existing dash... I still like it better than pillar gauges though.

can you see the clock past it? It looks like it gets in the way.

Ditto.

Just sacrifice the middle A/C vents and put the guages in there.

It doesn't get that hot in NorCal does it? Heh.

all....I will create an installation guide on this tonight, if possible, and probably I will leave it in the 5th gen forum. I dunno if the 4th gen console have the same shape.

that's what I thought initially.....I prefer something in the center or on the steering column. putting it on the a-pillar blocks my view a little. I have a grey interior so it doesnt match too way on my dash. But like nadir said....it should be pretty easy to spray it down. the only hard part is to match the interior color 100%.

nope, the clock is partially blocked. I have to lean forward to see the time.

hey buddy....
So you will prefer to have the clock? Another way to have both the clock visible and the pod present is to push the pod forward a little bit. But, it will leave some gaps on the side of the pod. Maybe I will put in a clock into that empty gauge hole.
