How good is this deal really? Sort of concerned after the post by the guy who had all sorts of problems with the Cattman FSTB fitting, etc. Does the RSB come with everything you need to install? How good is the fit on the 2000?

Why is the stillen one so much more $$$?? Does it really have that much more craftmanship & technology built in??

Its a cross member support bar, thats like charging 2x as much for a battery hold down bracket is it not?!

My Cattman RSB bolted up just fine. It is a completely different piece of hardward than the titanium FSTB.

Not everyone is good with tools.

The Cattman RSB bolts up perfectly. Just got mine Tues and installed Wednesday in less than 20 minutes. I didn't even remove my rear wheels, just backed up on ramps. World of difference on my stock spring/strut '97 SE. Installation is very easy for one person. Kit comes with everything needed for installation (even grease for the bushings). My SE already has the FSTB and RSTB, and the RSB has made more of a difference than both of those combined (not that a RSTB is earth-shattering with the performance improvement). If you have $110 and don't have a RSB, I'd get one ASAP. Only complaint I have is I didn't get one sooner, regardless of cost.

Mine fit perfect as well. The cattman is a custom designed Progress bar and fits great, it also doesn't angle in like the Addco or have poor painting either.

Do like I did and play up the safety aspect of having a RSB. You know, it'll help the car perform better to keep you out of accidents in emergency maneuvers. If you have kids like me, even better when using this angle, because then it makes the car safer for them to ride in (and you only want it for the increased safety for them!). Do not say it is fun .
I DO NOT condone driving aggressively with kids in the car. But this safety aspect can be a viable angle. I'll be using it again when I need to re-do brakes...
When clearing it with the wife, I'd definitely leave out remarks like "it'll make the car handle like it's on rails", etc... Most married men know that women hate to see men have fun (why do you think they close their eyes while having...).
I've told my wife I now need new seats because the car handles better and my butt slides on the stock seats. She told me to do something that I can't repeat on this forum (and is most likely humanly impossible).
Also with the Cattman RSB, you get 2 silver "Progress" stickers. Good for an easy 5 fwhp each.
