Ummm, if you are gonna go with Toyo's, I would recommend the Toyo Proxes T1-S tires. I would try to stay away from the FZ4s. They have a soft sidewall and a not-so-advanced tread design. Ask myself, Bags533, Micah95GLE, etc about the T1-S tires. They are absolutely awesome. If you need some prices, I may be able to hook you up, where do you live????

yup

they are on back order so about 3-4 weeks i should be rolling in 19"

i managed not to bend a single rim riding on 2 sets of 18" so i said what the heck/ let's play with something bigger. 18" is just too small/20" too big and chrome was what makes beige color stand out so chrome it is. my gf is not too happy with it but she'll just have to understand. i have to get her some bamboo earings / at least 2 pairs!

What kind are you getting? Or are you keeping it a secret..

I just ordered some 19's too, and they're also on backorder for about a month.

I've had 19"s on and off for hmmm like a year anda half?? and... heres what I can tell you

roads in CA suck nuts, it doesnt have to be ALL the roads but in CA alot of the roads are smooth but there is always a HUGE pothole in the middle of the road that will swallow your round wheel and make it not round

I've had one 19" bent and had it replaced, and 19" tires are ******* expensive!!

my philosophy- 19"s for show and good roads, keep a set of other rims for road trips and bad areas

I've had my 19's for a year and a half. Drifted into a curb once at 90mph, scratched the crap outta the rims, shoved my rear axle 6" to the driver side, but the rim wasn't cracked or bent! BTW, the T1S's are awesome. Oh, and Oklahoma roads are known for being horrible!

That's funny....my car not in a shop? Yeah right! I went up there today and he said middle of this spring....I hope he wasn't serious. He has both taillight buckets welded in place, and I have to get him a new trunk lid and I think he wants me to get a fiberglass back bumper. I like the skyline back bumper, but I don't know if Greg will remember me enough to give me a deal. I don't really want to spend $875 for Sarona side skirts and the skyline back bumper.

why do you guy's rims bend so easy? is it the quality?
i know people with 19"s that take alot of abuse but the rims are fine, they werent cheap though, also I would go with the T1-S as well

here's my story about the time i stepped in shiet...

i was browsing the wheel category on eBay...
i noticed someone was selling a "gift certificate" for Tire Rack...
it was for $3,000 worth of tires/wheels...
the guy won it on an online contest...
so i bid, and won it for $1200...
5 days later i had a delivery at my door...
19" Mille Miglia AVIA II wheels w/ Pirelli 235/35/19 tires, locks/lugs
bolted them on my car and was a very happy man...

kept them for a while...
then sold them for $2500 on eBay...

the package was very heavy...
but i was able to pull 2.1 60' times all day on them @ the track...
the weight probably hurt my 1/4 mi time...
but since they were so heavy they limited wheel spin issues...
car handled great on them too...

that is my story...
