I have a 2001 SE, the 2002 sounds like it might be the car to have if it keeps the smaller body style. My question is, does anyone know when/where the specs on the 2002 will be available first. I'm thinking about sending the 01 back and getting the 02. Thanks for your help.

 

a 3.5 260 HP engine in it! Also the dealer I just bot my car from said he just recieved notification that said the 2002 I30/Max will definatly have 260HP.I would be willing to bet it will have 260HP and maybe a little remodaling too!It will be my next car in about 4 years or maybe a 2003.

 

Ok, probably a 260 hp 3.5L, but what about RWD and how much bigger/smaller will it be.

 

RWD definatly won't be available until the new bigger body style comes out which will either be 03-04 model year,and no one knows for sure about that yet but the rumor is it may have a V8 with RWD with about 300HP but like I said that is to far away to know one way or another at this point.Only time will tell.

 

i think the new max is gonna be unveiled at the ny auto show in spring.
