There is a thread in the GD section with a guy selling rotors. I've attached to link so you can see the discussion.

My question to him was; is there cadmium coating on the rotors. His response was that there was electro plating on the edges (thickness of rotor) and the front (where studs come out and rim mounts to rotor). What is this electro plating and do rotors need coating on the surface?
